Andreas Richter Cultural Consulting represents some of the best and highly acclaimed period instruments ensembles in Europe. Some of them made history in the past 30 years, exploring the spectrum of original sound, including Freiburger Barockorchester from Germany, Il Giardino Armonico and Europa Galante from Italy. Today, the next generation of ambitious and curious young ensembles follows their ways – looking for new adventures in playing and performing the repertoire. It took Teodor Currentzis’ musicAeterna from Perm only some few years to become one of the most popular orchestras known for its thrilling and driving performance and its technical brilliance.
B’Rock Orchestra from Belgium offers innovative concert programs presented on the highest level, while the Finnish Baroque Orchestra spreads musical highlights by combining old pearls with contemporary jewels. Creating sophisticated projects with highly profiled soloists, the German ensemble La Folia Barockorchester Dresden gained great international reputation within only 10 years. Kremerata Baltica was violinist Gidon Kremer’s 50th birth-day present to himself.
Furthermore, the agency represents the Chamber Orchestra of Europe, one of those forerunners in the world of music, whose musicians decided to form an independent ensemble not based on public funding but on participation and self-responsibility. The Catalan Orquestra de Cadaqués is as much related to tradition as to innovation. It is dedicated to the cultivation of Spain’s rich and various musical heritage as well as to the support of contemporary repertoire and young aspiring conductors. Coro e Orchestra Ghislieri is an Italian vocal and instrumental ensemble, which specialises in the sacred repertoire of the eighteenth century. Since fall 2019, Vox Luminis has been the first choir on our ensemble list.
